This guide will walk you through the steps to quickly set up Standuply in your Microsoft Teams environment. Follow these simple instructions, and you'll have your team surveys and reports up and running in no time.

Add Standuply Bot from the Store

To begin, you'll need to add the Standuply bot to your Microsoft Teams Team. Here's how:

Step 1: Open Microsoft Teams and navigate to the Apps section.

Step 2: Search for Standuply in the search bar.

Step 3: Once you find Standuply, click on the app, then select Add to a Team.

Make sure to choose the correct channel where you want the Standuply bot to be active. This is crucial as the bot will interact with your team within this Team.

Complete Installation and Create a Survey

After adding the bot to your channel, you’ll receive a message from Standuply in the message tab where you added it.

Step 1: Open the channel and look for the message from Standuply.

Step 2: In the message, you’ll see a button labeled Complete installation & Create survey. Click on it.

Step 3: After completing the installation, follow the prompts to Create a Survey on your Standuply dashboard.

Standuply will guide you through setting up your first survey, which you can configure according to your team’s needs.

Access Your Dashboard and Link Your Team

Once you’ve completed the installation process, you can manage your surveys directly from the Standuply dashboard.

Step 1: Go to the Standuply website and log in to your account (app.standuply.com).

Step 2: In your dashboard, you’ll see that your Microsoft Teams Team is now linked.

Step 3: You can now create, manage, and view surveys specifically for your linked team

Troubleshooting: What to Do If You Don't Receive a Message

If you don’t receive the initial message from Standuply in your channel, you can manually trigger the bot.

Step 1: Mention the bot by typing @standuply in the channel where you added it.

Step 2: This mention will prompt the bot to send the message with the Complete Installation button.

Once you receive this message, you can follow the steps above to complete the installation and create your first report.
