For the timeline to function correctly in Standuply, your Jira Issue cards must include the following fields:

  • Original Estimate

  • Due Date

  • Time Tracking

How to Add Required Fields to a Jira Issue

  1. Open your Jira issue.

  2. Click the Configure button at the bottom-right corner of the issue.

  3. You will be redirected to the Issue Layout page

  4. Use the search bar to find and add these fields:

    • Original Estimate

    • Due Date

    • Time Tracking

Additional Steps for Company-Managed Projects

If you're using a company-managed project, follow these extra steps:

  1. From the Issue Layout page, click the Configure Screen link.

  2. This will allow you to select fields accessible via the API.

  3. Scroll to the bottom and use the search bar to add these fields:

    • Time Tracking (for updating estimates)

    • Due Date

    • Assignee

Once you've completed these steps, save your settings. Your Jira Issues will now correctly integrate with the timeline feature in Standuply.
